The majority of Canadians share that wearing a face mask is a civic duty

Based on a new survey, it suggests that the recent rise in new COVID-19 cases throughout Canada comes with a similar increase in support for the mandatory face mask policies in public spaces.

In the online survey by Leger and the Association for Canadian Studies, it stated that around 83% of the respondents feel that governments should order people to wear a face mask in all indoor public spaces.

Around 87% felt that wearing a face mask was a civic duty since it protects others from COVID-19.
